iPi Mocap Studio also known as iPi Desktop Motion Capture and iPi DMC is a software program provided by iPi Soft LLC for tracking an actor's motion by analyzing multi-camera (or depth sensor) video recordings. Input videos are recorded with another tool — iPi Recorder.
As an output, iPi Mocap Studio produces a skeleton animation, that then can be applied to an arbitrary target humanlike character. The software includes features for tuning the final animation, such as jitter removal and trajectory filtering. A number of popular formats is supported for target character import and animation export including FBX, BVH, Collada, DMX and SMD.
The software comes in several editions which differ by kind and number of cameras supported for tracking. You can download 30-day trial version of software for evaluation purposes.
